Golf cart and Colosseum

One of our best selling combo tours, Rome by Golf Cart with a private visit to the symbol of the Eternal City, the Colosseum, skipping the line to enter. The first 4 hours will be spent in the veins of Rome away from the chaos of traffic, in the alleys where only a Golf Cart can drive, reaching squares, fountains and monuments of the most beautiful City in the world. During the tour we will guide you through every square, fountain and monument in our style, telling anecdotes and curiosities. Forget flat and cold tours, we are as warm as the sun in Rome.

We’re going to pick you up at your accommodation, and we start the tour from there. During the first 4 hours we’re going to live in the atmosphere of the city through the small alleys of the historic center where we can admire the historic buildings of the ‘500 with flowered balconies, decorated courtyards with remains of ancient Rome and beautiful gates.

We will reach all the highlights of the city away from traffic, driving along secondary roads in complete safety. We’ll visit the most important attractions of the city such as the Trevi Fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and even Via dei Coronari, an ancient street dating back to 1400 and one of the most beautiful in Rome, where the Popes once bought their jewels from master goldsmiths. We will also see the view from Castel Sant’Angelo, the ancient market of Campo dei Fiori, Piazza Navona and its marvelous fountains by the great Gian Lorenzo Bernini, until we reach Piazza Venezia to climb the hill to admire the fantastic Capitoline view of the Roman Forum, the ancient center of the city.

For lunch we can try a dish of pasta in a local tavern or a piece of pizza at the market or maybe just an ice cream. The choice is yours, but whatever it is we will only suggest typical places.

Before arriving at the Colosseum, we visit Piazza Margana, a small slice of Rome in the 1400 still intact, right in the middle of the beautiful Jewish district. Its tranquility will give you the illusion of being back in Renaissance Rome. In addition to being a beautiful place to visit, Piazza Margana hides many curiosities that we will tell you in person.

From Piazza Margana we walk along the ancient theater of the opera of Marcellus wanted by the Emperor Augustus and, going up the Palatine Hill, along the Circus Maximus, we will arrive at the Colosseum. Our Golf Cart tour will end when we meet the guide who will lead you inside the monument. We will say goodbye leaving you in good hands.
