About this tour
Two magical hours aboard our Vespa sidecars under the stars of Rome to touch the most iconic monuments and squares of the city. Just like in the glamorous 1950s, relive the magical nights of La Dolce Vita with one of Italy’s icons, the Vespa sidecar. A unique and engaging experience.
The city lights up and becomes magical aboard our Vespa sidecars. The wind in your hair on the Vespa, the view of all the monuments: the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Circus Maximus, Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, and much more.
We will arrive silently, caressed by the wind, in front of the Colosseum to admire it in all its majesty. We’ll stop to take photos or videos, then ride our Vespa sidecars to circle the entire amphitheater until we reach Circus Maximus.
Enjoy the ride!
We will arrive at the Trevi Fountain on the Vespa sidecar, reaching it through the 16th-century veins of the city where cars cannot enter.
Here, you can admire the Trevi Fountain with its dazzling white marble and crystal-clear waters. Don’t forget to toss a coin and make a wish.
Away from traffic and guided by us who have grown up on Vespa sidecars, we’ll ride near the Pantheon and its lively narrow streets, continuing onto Piazza di Spagna and Piazza Navona.
We’ll enjoy a good gelato just like the Romans do during the hot summers in the Eternal City.
Let’s go alongside the Tiber River, skirting Tiber Island with its Roman-era bridges. We’ll pass Castel Sant’Angelo, enveloped in magic.
On board the Vespa sidecar, you will enjoy the fresh air of the Eternal City.

During the tour, you’ll have access to our audio guides to hear live commentary from our driver/guide about all the iconic squares and fountains we encounter along our route. We aim to be engaging and informative in our explanations, never mundane.
Our tours are highly flexible, and we can accommodate your requests within the distances feasible for sidecar travel.
We’ll pick you up from your hotel if it’s centrally located in Rome or even after dinner at a restaurant to start the tour. We love the Roman night, and if you’d like, we can even stop for an aperitif in the sidecar!

What if it rains?
N 1 In case of adverse weather conditions, we ask our guests to confirm their attendance one day prior to the event. As an exceptional courtesy, we offer free cancellation without any penalties if notified at least 24 hours in advance. For light rain, the tour will proceed as planned; we are equipped with rainproof materials and prioritize your safety. In case of heavy rain, we will do our best to reschedule the tour.
N2 Weather Policy – Sidecar Tours
In case of rain or adverse weather conditions, the decision to operate or cancel a sidecar tour is solely at our discretion. This decision may be made up to one hour before the scheduled departure time. The safety of our drivers and, above all, of our guests is our highest priority, and for this reason our decision is final and non-negotiable. If rescheduling is not possible, we will issue a full refund.

Each vehicle is for two people only: one passenger behind the rider and the other passenger inside the sidecar, for a total of 2 people.
During the tour, you are free to switch places with the other passenger whenever you want.
Is it safe?
Absolutely!
Each vehicle is thoroughly inspected by the Italian Department of Transportation and is subject to an annual review to approve the passenger transport license.
We ride our Vespas at a moderate speed in order to allow the passengers to fully enjoy the tour. Our Vespa riders have years of experience and are chosen with great care.
Are your vehicles insured?
Yes, they are! Each year, the Department of Transportation requires us to have mandatory insurance, and without it, they do not renew our license.
Is your tour group or private?
We only offer private tours. We will pick you up in front of your hotel and drop you off either at your hotel or anywhere you prefer in central Rome.
How many people can join your tours?
Currently, we can accommodate up to a maximum of 8 people, divided among four sidecars. Each vehicle can carry only two people, so if your group has eight members, we will need to use four Vespa sidecars!

Can I bring my dog with me?
Of course! If you look at our logo, you will see that our mascot is a cute dog called Ettore! If your dog is small, they can ride with you in the sidecar. If you have a big dog and you think it will be comfortable in the sidecar, then you are welcome to bring your dog along.
NOTE: a large dog will be counted as a participant on the tour.
Can I drive your Vespa sidecars?
Unfortunately, no. For safety reasons, we cannot allow you to drive our vehicles.
From what age can children participate?
Children aged five and above can join the tour. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. They can sit behind the driver only if they are over 150 cm tall; otherwise, they must sit inside the sidecar.
Are there any height and weight limits?
Yes! Our sidecars can support up to 110 kg/242 lbs, and the maximum height is 1.90 m. The maximum weight for sitting behind the driver is 118 kg/260 lbs.
Can I bring something to eat and drink during the tour?
Of course, you can!
Can we hear the driver speaking during the tour?
You will have a comfortable radio guide to listen to the live commentary from our driver. If you prefer, you can simply relax and enjoy the 360-degree views of the city without any commentary. It is entirely up to you!
